Tyra Hanson, the owner of Frenchman’s Bay Planning & Design, Inc., will soon be recognized as one of the top decorators and design consultants along the coast of Maine. Over the years, she has coordinated space planning projects during many events, meetings and conferences, held in Bar Harbor, Boston, New York and Philadelphia.

In recent years, Tyra worked with a general contractor in the Bar Harbor/Ellsworth, Maine area assisting customers in creating their own floor design or re-designing plans for log and stick built homes. Tyra is consistently improving her decorating skills and her knowledge of the design industry by continuing her education through Sheffield School of Interior Design based out of New York City.

Tyra Hanson opened Frenchman's Bay Planning & Design in June 2007 as a company specializing in creative space planning and interior design. The company focuses on residential and commercial projects that require a creative twist.

Frenchman's Bay Planning & Design can work closely with your contractor on any building project. The contractor can build the home, and we assist in the design of virtually any room in the house: the kitchen, bathrooms, and unique ideas for eating areas, porches, etc.

We also can accessorize the home once the building phase of the home is complete and the decorating phase takes place.
